Hey. I went through your gallery. I have to say I really like your portraitures. I think that some of your stuff is even better than mine. I would say that you might want to take some more still life. Don't be afraid of cropping, clean lines will ALWAYS look better than too much "clutter". I.e. Instead of trying to get all three pumpkins, you might have wanted to focus on one, so that the "clutter" of the siding on the house doesn't become distracting, or even moved all the pumpkins to a different spot. BUT. You have to find a happy medium between not enough cropping and too much cropping. I think some thinks need a background. The background is part of the story that the picture tells. For instance, the picture of the Christmas time lamppost; it looks too short, squat. Like a short, fat, crockity old man. One of the best examples you have of good cropping: Prom night Mischief. You are not too close that you cannot tell that it is a hat, but not too far that you lose the punch and mischievousness of the red feather in the black and white brim. Anyway, this is a really long note. So I’m gonna stop now. Fell free to critique my pictures as well. :]
